💳 Refund, Returns & Preorder Policy
Thanks for shopping with Pocket Collection!
We are collectors too, so we try to keep things fair, clear, and human. Because trading cards and collectibles can be condition-sensitive and market-sensitive, our general policy is simple: all sales are considered final.
🏷️ Returns & Exchanges
Due to the nature of trading cards, sealed products, graded cards, and collectibles, we do not accept returns or exchanges. Please review your order carefully before completing your purchase. If you are unsure about a product, condition, preorder timeline, or packaging expectations, please contact us before ordering.
🔄 Order Cancellations
We get it — sometimes collectors change their minds. If an in-stock order has not yet shipped, cancellation requests may be approved at our discretion. Approved cancellations are subject to a 5% cancellation fee to help cover non-refundable payment processing costs.
If you are trying to cancel an in-stock order shortly after placing it please email support@pocketcollection.ca as soon as possible.If the order is placed during business hours, your order might be processed right away. To cancel it urgently please also call us at 647-584-0009.
Submitting a cancellation request does not guarantee that an order can be stopped. We do not want to ship unwanted product. So while we try to do our best, if the order has been peen picked up by the carrier before we review and approve the request, the order will be treated as shipped. Once an order has shipped, it cannot be cancelled.<
📦 Preorders
Release Dates
Many of our preorder products are sourced from overseas releases in China, Japan, and other parts of Asia.
In most cases, these products cannot be shipped to us in Canada until after the official release date. Release dates are set by manufacturers and suppliers. We generally open preorders close to release day, once inventory and pricing are more stable. Occasionally, certain products may be opened earlier.
Standard Preorders
We strive to provide pleasant preorder experience. Our Standard Preorders include:
- Free cancellation within 24 hours of purchase
- After 24 hours, cancellations are subject to a 5% cancellation fee
- Pocket Collection price protection for 7 days following the official release date
within 7 days of the official release date, we are happy to price match. You may request a refund for the difference by emailing support@pocketcollection.ca.
Price protection applies only to Pocket Collection pricing for the exact variant, wave and delivery window is reduced and does not apply to similar items, other stores or "market" pricing, temporary promotions, coupon codes, clearance pricing, or pricing errors.
🚀 Express Preorders
Express Preorders are intended for collectors who are confident they want the product at the advertised price and want it as quickly as possible. Once an Express Preorder is placed, inventory is committed and sourcing begins right away. Express Preorders may be cancelled within 12 hours of purchase if the order has not yet been committed, captured, packed, or shipped. After 24 hours, Express Preorders are final sale and cannot be cancelled, modified, or refunded.
If we are unable to fulfill an Express Preorder within the advertised Express timeline and the order falls into the Standard Preorder timeline, Pocket Collection may, at its discretion, refund the difference between the Express and Standard preorder price.
📦 Delivery Dates
Preorder delivery dates shown by Pocket Collection are estimates. We do our best to provide conservative timelines, but delays can happen due to allocation changes, supplier timing, international shipping, customs, weather, or other factors outside of our control. If a preorder is delayed by more than 30 days beyond the estimated arrival date provided by Pocket Collection, customers may request a full refund without cancellation fees.
📦 Mixed Orders
Orders containing both in-stock and preorder items will generally ship together once all items are available. If you order Express Preorder items together with Standard Preorder items, in-stock items, or other products with later timelines, your entire order may be held until everything is ready.If fast delivery is important, we recommend placing Express Preorder items in a separate order. If you would like available items shipped separately, additional shipping charges may apply. Please contact support@pocketcollection.ca as soon as possible.
🃏 Trading Card Singles
Unless otherwise stated, singles are sold in Mint to Near Mint condition. Mint to Near Mint does not guarantee perfect centering, flawless surfaces, perfect edges, or eligibility for any specific grading result. If you are buying a higher-value card and want additional photos, please contact support@pocketcollection.ca before purchasing. We are happy to help when possible.
📦 Sealed Products & Packaging Condition
We understand and respect sealed collectors. We are display collectors too. That said, for most sealed products, the contents are considered the product, while the outer box or shrink wrap is considered packaging meant to protect the contents during transportation and storage. Many products pass through multiple warehouses, shipping partners, and handling points before reaching us. Older products, restocks, and products sourced from secondary markets may show age-appropriate packaging wear. Because of this, minor shrink-wrap imperfections, light shelf wear, small corner dings, tiny dents, or other minor cosmetic packaging issues are generally not considered damage and do not qualify for refunds or exchanges.
Some products may be listed as Displays, Cases, or other sealed collector-focused formats. These may carry a premium due to packaging condition, sourcing, handling requirements, shipping difficulty, or collector demand. Products not fitting normal conditions are listed separately as Imperfect or Damaged at lowered prices. Imperfect condition implies minor damage to outer packaging such as tears in shrink wraps, dents, creases and have no effects on contents of the box. Damaged boxes have more visible damage, such as a crushed corners, or deeper dents, without impact on contents and usually include image to show type of damage.

📸 Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Orders
We take great care in packing every order. If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact support@pocketcollection.ca within 48 hours of delivery.
Please include:
- Your order number
- A description of the issue
- Clear photos of the product
- Clear photos of the packaging
If you do not receive a response within 24 hours, please follow up by phone at 647-584-0009. We will review the situation and work with you to find a fair resolution.
💳 Refund Timing
For some releases, we may authorize payment first and capture payment later. If an uncaptured authorization is cancelled, it may simply disappear from your statement instead of appearing as a traditional refund.
For captured payments, once a refund is processed on our end, you will receive a notification. Depending on your bank, credit card provider, payment processor, or payment network, it may take several business days for the funds to appear back on your statement.
⚠️ Order Review & Refusal
Pocket Collection reserves the right to refuse, limit, cancel, or refund orders at our discretion in situations involving suspected fraud, inventory errors, pricing mistakes, shipping restrictions, unavailable inventory, unusual risk, freight forwarding services, parcel forwarding addresses, or other circumstances that prevent us from safely completing a transaction.
Any cancelled orders will be refunded in full.

Can I cancel an Express Preorder?Express Preorders may be cancelled within 24 hours only if the order has not yet been committed, captured, packed, or shipped. After 24 hours, Express Preorders are final sale.
What is preorder price protection?If Pocket Collection lowers its own selling price within 7 days of the official release date, Standard Preorder customers may request a refund of the difference. This does not apply to competitor pricing.
